Grow Energy Logo Tutorial

A lot of people keep asking me how I make my grid on logo designs. So I'm making this shot to sort of explain how and why I make it. This actually isn't a tutorial, but show part of the process, and I think anyone will understand.

All the process was made on Adobe Illustrator CS6, but you can for sure make it on any other version. I'll post soon more shots from this project, so keep tuned!
