How to make Granny's Potato-Pear-Soup

My grannyused to make this soup, my mother did and now I am making it, too. It's delicious, try it out. It's fun not to know whether that bit on your spoon is a bit of potato or a bit of juicy pear. And totally vegan if you leave out the bacon.
