ZFL | Libra Liberty Primary

(10/12) It’s been a minute since I posted a new ZFL team, but I’m pretty excited how this one came out. The Liberty are the 2nd of 3 teams in the Air Division of the Zodiac Football League. - Libra is the sign of the scales which is based on the Scales of Justice held by Themis, the Greek personification of divine law and custom. I decided to go with the “Libra Liberty” as the team name to play on the justice theme. My rationale for this visual direction: Instead of using the scales, I wanted to use the symbolism of balance through symmetry and thought the Eagle would be a strong central image to convey liberty. Also, Libra is an air sign, so a bird with flight seemed appropriate. And for good measure, integrated the Libra symbol in the middle of the Eagle.
