Animated 3D Main Menu

I wanted to play around with a faux 3D effect for the main site menu which played on the company name of Pixools. Each project menu item was represented by a cube (reminiscent of the logo) and coloured to match the project. Over time a large patchwork of these cube 'pixels' would build up. This animation would happen on site load to add some visual interest without getting in the way of the user experience.
