Skype redesign concept- Splash and Login

Hello guys,

I am so excited to present you my Skype redesign concept. As I am daily user of Skype application on mobile and I am not really happy either in UI and UX I challenged myself to redesign it. I put some effort to it so my concept fulfils everything I wanted to accomplish. Main goal was to keep it as simple visually as possible but still not hurting UX. I used little “refreshed” old logo with refreshed brand colour to convey message that it is redesign but it is still going to be simple, classy and useful- just like before.

To login from mobile user needs only phone number and to save interaction cost and simplify process login view appears immediately after splash screen disappears. There is also possibility to login by e-mail address if user created account before.
