I normally don't accept requests to build someone else's design, especially when they're personal sites like this one.

This project has a lot of nice video and imagery to work with though, and its for someone super cool. Definitely deserving of nice detail work and good code.

I'm going to design the final typographic and visual treatments and build the site. I'm starting with a basic Sinatra app, and will build the site with the Backbone router along with some server rendered views. Throw in indented Sass for the styles, and CoffeeScript for the client, and you've got a highly opinionated little website going :)
