Travis Barker Portrait Rd.xBLU// Series

Travis Barker has been banging in playlists since cassettes were a thing. Blink-182 has def. been one of those bands I can’t seem to “outgrow”. But all of his projects have really always been part of my life’s soundtrack. From Transplants, Box Car Racer, +44 and even his DJ set. I remember I even had a Famous belt buckle to go with my checkered vans. Gotta love a good punk outfit get up. I was lucky enough to see him play live at Riot Fest this year. Guy may be 43, but he plays like if he was a teenager.⁣

⁣But in all seriousness, this guy has been an example of technical precession and dedication. Even after the plane crash, the guy came back swinging. Today’s portrait goes out to him. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do a “current” Travis look or a “back in the day” look, so I went for an in between. New tats, old hair. Banged out this portrait just in time for Blink’s new album drop, Nine. Go check it out! Def have it in a nonstop loop. ⁣

⁣Also, I wasn’t sure which one I loved more (color or monochrome) so I posted both. The high contrast of his eye color with the red really pops, but the all red makes it look like a graph novel. I’ll let you guys decide. ⁣

⁣P.s. sorry for fucking up the tats, the references I used weren’t so clear as to what was there or not. But you get the idea.
