Footnote

This is my final project for a typography course. I'm addressing the dichotomy created by America's founding document.

I printed off the poster, crumpled, and re-scanned to get the effect.

Font is Baskerville regular and italic.

The footnote reads: "The following parties will be excluded from these liberties including, but not limited to: women and persons with African, Asian, or Indigenous blood. Amendment I: As declared by the Virginia House of Burgess in 1680, the descendants of John Rolfe and Pocahontas are exempt from discrimination. Amendment II: As declared by the Racial Integrity Act of 1924, those with 1/16th Indigenous ancestry are exempt from discrimination."
