New illustration for a Thanx in-depth think piece by our CEO, The Four Horsemen of the Restaurant Apocalypse? - Ironically, this is the exact type of thing I'd tell my team to avoid as it has almost nothing to do with our core brand... but sometimes, you just gotta play around and have fun.

See the video for a preview of the process: did the original line drawing in Illustrator using my Cintiq tablet, then ported over to Photoshop to finish it up with texture and color alterations. I feel like an old man still using Illustrator + Photoshop, but IT'S MY LIFE, DAD.

Also, I learned a ton about the brands highlighted here; all impressive identities! Powerhouse design studio & personal fave, Wolff Olins, did work for Grubhub and Uber (and subsequently Uber Eats), Character from SF did Doordash, and though I couldn't find who did the original symbol of the bicyclist, Neubau from Berlin did the current logotype for Postmates. Hoping these amazing studios aren't offended seeing their identities represented as the Four Horsemen... 😬
