FEiST Studio

I was commissioned to draw a new studio space. The image is being used on business cards, posters, social, and as the landing page for the website.

I start with a photo and using traditional watercolours, before scanning the image and bringing it into Adobe. From there, I go back and forth between Illustrator and Photoshop to create the final image.

I am known for these buildings and in fact have them in galleries. They are known as the "Memories From A Modest Reality" series, and were first conceived on a road trip down the west coast of North America.

The hardest part is coming up with background colours. In this case, however, the client wanted her own brand colours used.
