Double Dagger

A design I drew for the double dagger glyph in Girassol, a fun display typeface I've been working on in my spare time.

The dagger and double dagger are typographic symbols that are used to point somewhere else in the body of a text, like a footnote. The double dagger will often be represented by a dagger with two handles, sometimes opposing each other. I decided to do something a little more illustrative 💘
