Aiguille du Dru (Mountain Profile)

Part 1 of a series of mountain profiles, highlighting icons of mountaineering/alpinism. In this profile I focus on Aiguille du Dru (specifically the Petit Dru) in near Charmonix, France. This peak has long been a source of awe and wonder for me, so it was fitting this be the first of the series.

This profile was inspired by vintage stamps, travel posters, and Swiss-international style of graphic design. The black vectors, as well as the 'Aiguille' type were custom made by me for this design. The overall design, aims to be reminiscent of Europe around the time of the first ascent, yet with a modern flair.
