Design Systems - Elevation

As part of Lyft's design system, we provide shadow levels and guidance for elevation. One of our challenges was defining the relationship between different UI planes, especially since our experiences often incorporate maps. I made this image to help demonstrate how we apply elevation levels to components that are on different UI planes.
