Bijou Lake
Recently I’ve been a fan of terrazzo patterns after creating one for a fun client. Naturally, I found a way to incorporate the style into my lake series.
From a bird’s-eye view, bodies of water look like Mother Nature’s very own terrazzo pattern. I mimicked the overhead shape of Bijou Lake as well as the surrounding ponds. I’m very happy with the final result! Sometimes you don’t have to search too hard for inspiration, just view things from a different perspective.
