Land Gorilla - Approved Logo Design

This is not a quite recent logo, but now I decided to post it here on dribbble.

Land Gorilla is an industry leader in Construction Risk Management.
Land Gorilla protects construction lenders, contractors, and borrowers from the inherent risks and pitfalls associated with construction lending.

The idea was to create a strong and simplified icon that brings trust and sense of safety.
It was a challenge because from all of the variations presented to the client I had to remove elements from the designs to get out a very simplistic design, at the same time maintaining the principal characteristics.
