Baltimore Clippers Full Branding

Introducing the Baltimore Clippers of the Cardinal League!

When trying to decide on a name for the Baltimore team, we went with a name rooted deep in the history of the city. A Baltimore Clipper is a fast-sailing ship built most notably in the city of Baltimore. They were also referred to as Baltimore Flyers.

Clippers have sharp V shapes and angles that visually look fast and we want the style of the logo to reflect that as well, with speed being a key skill on a football field. The colors are inspired by the red and gold of the Maryland flag, but made into a more easily digestible palette when the black is removed.
