Rosettes of Rage

I took roses from my garden and created the word rage as a cathartic expression in response to the modern-day feminist movement. Working with the red of new growth, and the contrast of meaning verse subject matter the piece symbolizes the historically non-violent and productive (yet slow) ways women have fought for equality and freedom. Type is friendly and delicate yet full of baby sharp thorns.
