Serpent

In terms of symbolism, serpents represent dual expression of good and evil. Doing some digging around a lot of the meanings are contradictory — death and rebirth, poison and medicine, danger and guardianship. I like to incorporate symbolism in a lot of the things I draw so it's like a puzzle to compose and figure out how it all ties together visually and symbolically.
