HomeWizard Climate App
I played role in designing a remote-control application called HomeWizard Climate for a smart fan. With HomeWizard Climate users can control their fan from their smartphone. The device can be scheduled to turn off automatically during sleep hours, be set to turned on or off after designated time or start blowing just before arriving home etc.
At first, I began designing with HomeWizard Cleaner app’s present structure. Afterwards I predispose the design to administrate through making some changes.
After designing the wireframes, I built the first prototype of the application. I asked for assistance from some of my teammates to carry through the user testing process. I assigned a few tasks to see their behaviors and reactions while they are controlling the fan for the first time, such as setting the timer, scheduling the behavior of the fan during sleep hours, changing the mode and so on, to get certain feedbacks. When we’re done with the testing I was aware of particular screens that need improvements so, I endeavored to come up with better versions.
