Inktober 2018. My theme this year is "Actors or actresses that have entertained me so much over the years that I feel like I owe them a sandwich...or a beer...or both”. Feel free to throw out people you think deserve to be on the list, and I’ll see if I can get it done. I don’t plan on getting to 31 pieces because every time I do it stresses me out so much that Inktober stops being fun. I’m gonna shoot for 10 or 15 good ones and leave it at that. Dignity intact and not feeling like a failure because I didn't spend the entire month not sleeping and churning out garbage, which I tend to do when rushed.
Day 1 - Scott Glenn.
Before becoming an actor, Scott Glenn was a Marine, reporter, bartender, and forest ranger. For that alone I wanna buy him a sandwich...that guy has got to have some stories. I first noticed him in a film called Backdraft, where he stood out in what was then a monster ensemble cast. He was also in Apocalypse Now and The Silence of the Lambs. He’s got a great face, which looks like a road map of stories about the wisdom of experience.
He has almost 100 movies under his belt and even in the not-so-great ones, like Firestorm (with Howie Long) and Vertical Limit, he is still dynamic to watch. Recently he's been on Daredevil as Stick and Castle Rock as Alan Pangborn. Both great performances. Here’s to you Mr. Glenn.#inktober
