Crow and floral

I’m always inspired by color but I’m not great at using it myself. It never comes out the way I imagine and I default to black and white. This morning I was trying to make a different drawing work but couldn’t. It was limiting my color palette and the concept was dull. So I thought about things I love (this is how I always reign myself in during a creative block), and I came up with the color mustard and crows. It sort of all fell into place from there. And it’s freakin’ exactly where I’ve been trying to take my work so I’m very excited to keep experimenting with what I’ve learned.
