Testing AR designs for the visually impaired
When designing anything for the virtual space (VR, AR, or XR) you must test early and often in order to achieve an experience that makes sense for your users and application tasks. All great applications focus on their ability to help users solve their problems more efficiently and effectively. When I designed this UI for people with severe visual impairments, we needed to test on multiple devices with multiple users, early on, to ensure we were maximizing usability of the software.
