Custom Logo Design Process with Grids and Shape Builder Tool

Just a quick little vid on using Illustrator's Shape Builder Tool (Shift + M) along with a custom predefined grid system.

Quite frankly I don't use Illustrator's Shape Builder Tool that much often, as I call it the layman's trick to building shapes ;-)
However, it can be fast & fun in some cases, but it will require some extra optimization, such as removing redundant paths & anchor points afterwards, in order to build and deliver a professional Brand Mark.
