Icon development for Startup Pittsburgh, a networking group dedicated to providing first-class, customized services to Pittsburgh's blossoming startup community.

The Startup Pittsburgh logo is an abstract pictorial mark that combines the imagery of the sun, arrows, and networking. The radial pattern of arrows not only represents coming together, community, and collaboration but also forms a shape to mimic an abstract sun, representative of guidance, light, and hope (i.e. guiding and helping others). Similarly, the arrow shapes communicate direction, growth, purpose, and intention.
