WhatsApp; Phone

Somewhere last year at @ueno. I worked together with our friends from the Furrow to create some animation work for WhatsApp. This is a small snippet.

This was the first time WhatsApp did something like this, so we had to define the style. A style that totally fits with WhatsApp brand, but is also distinct enough to stand out. Next was figuring out a way to make this message eye catching.

We knew that we only have a few seconds to grab the attention of a person browsing their feed. Therefore we decided to go with a narrative with characters to make it more interesting from frame one.
