Mecca Magazine Mockup

This was a personal project of mine which focused on editorial design and print publication. I created a make-believe magazine brand called 'MECCA MAGAZINE: Music & Lifestyle' that appealed to the electronic music market. The planning and design for this conceptual editorial was largely my exploring various page layouts. The challenge for me was to produce the most interesting publication spreads without effecting both the readability of the texts and the graphic artworks' presented with them.
The April 2017 publication of MECCA MAGAZINE was the 'Experimental Beats Issue' and featured former sound technician turned ambient indie artist, 'Aesthetician'.

All album cover arts/ images featured in this magazine were produced by me through mixed media mediums.
