Columbia– Site Redesign and CMS

It was like being told, “I know you've been using PhotoShop for your entire career – not anymore.” Doing a site redesign and standing up a CMS is a bit of an awaking as a designer. I was the Director of Design and UX on this project and felt if I was going to ask my designers to go through this, I needed to experience the pain. So I learned AEM too. Honestly, It’s not that bad. The tradeoffs make it worth it. For those new to CMS, it completely separates code from content, and if your platform isn’t SFCC, your CMS can own the glass. Pretty cool
