Mnemosyne effect

We were approached by aspiring writer Evgeny Materyov (trying himself in the science fiction genre) with a request to make a cover for his surrealistic novel.
Eugene described us his ideas on creating an illustration and a fascinating plot of the book.

The girl in the reflection is the ephemeral Inga. Main character Sergey talks with her about the worldview, form of being, meaning of life etc
The hourglass man is the main character, who does not want to waste a minute of his time and is trying to regain his memory.
The girl breaking into plates with a rose in her hand is Katya, Sergey's wife.
On the right, where the elephant is walking, you can see the wife of the main character with two children walking along the cape. The picture takes place in the Crimea, Cape Tarkhankut, settlement Olenevka.
The work is made in the style of surrealistic paintings by Salvador Dali “The Dream of Venus”, “The Elephants” etc
