Nutriscience: Play, Cook and Learn is a research project developed by the University of Porto (UP). Is funded by the EEA Grants Program, with the support of the National Health Service (Ministry of Health).
This project aims to increase the food and nutritional literacy of high-risk populations, namely, low-income families and educators of pre-school children from the national schools' network, through the development of an innovative communication approach. This tool acts as a social network where educational materials, nutritional challenges, comic books, and serious games mobile apps are proposed in a gamification approach.
