Day 13: Direct Message

Hi guys,

Today I was challenged to create a design for a direct messaging interface.

I wanted to create an easy to use and clear desktop app. So I opened Dribbble and the Refactoring UI component set, and started to create the wireframes for the design.

I also wanted to work with a color I don’t use that often. To decide which color I was going to use, I did some research about what people associate, emotionally, with certain colors. I ended up choosing a shade of purple, which is often associated with luxury, power, wisdom, creativity and magic.
