Payment Transactions

I always wonder why most of the apps with subscription plan or with automatic payments do not let you name your cards.
Let's say I have three MasterCard cards, it's hard to remember last 4 digits of every card to know which is which.
Why not give users opportunity to name their cards. For example "My Credit Card", "Student Card", "Salary Card", "My Dad's Card", etc.
Some apps do that, but most of them don't.
