Bird's-nest brand

This is a design made a few years ago for a bird's-nest brand, which combines the "swallow" form with the Chinese element "Ruyi" pattern.
Ruyi, which translates literally to "as you wish", is a curved decorative object that serves as a ceremonial scepter or a talisman symbolizing good fortune in Chinese folklore.
