Mexico, 4th global remittance sender

The remittance of money from Mexicans residing abroad totaled more than 30,000 million dollars in 2018, the highest record in 20 years. This source of income is even higher than automotive exports. Hence, Bansefi reported in mid-February that it is already seeking to directly capture these revenues, with more competitive commissions, to compete with cash and bank correspondents.
