Daily UI 006 User Profile

This project was an exercise in UI for a simple user profile. I wanted the profile to be different enough from what is usually found on social media platforms that it looks unique while maintaining some common features so the user doesn’t get confused. As social media users become more tech savvy and their phones gain better technology, I realized that their profiles could become a little more sophisticated. I wanted to nix the traditional header and expand the profile picture while highlighting their username to put the user front and center. The gradient aspect was added because it adds more dimension and fun for the user. It took me a while to tackle the users’ ability to edit the gradient and eventually realized, the simpler, the better.
