I believe in learning through experience, so I explored the use of HTML5 and CSS3 in http://jhames.com/chakras/ I used SVG instead of raster graphics—you'll need to use Webkit or Chrome to view the page—which was surprisingly easy to convert from Illustrator.

I'd like to revisit the navigation, contain the elements without putting everything in a box.
