Luminous Solutions Lighting Consultancy Logo

Luminous Solutions had grown and the business had transformed since it was first founded. They were frequently being confused with their audience, who mistook them for an electrical contractor.

They came to BigonMedia for a modern logo that portrayed them as a lighting consultancy and conveyed their attention to detail and design skills.

For the final version I used a modern sans-serif typeface - Helvetica in a very tight grid construction with contrasting font weights. The logo mark contains an 'L' shaped inside a rectangle symbolising light rays. I looked at architecture consultancies for inspiration.

The logo is a fresh change from their old logo which was more literal and used a lightbulb and leaf. The new logo design creates a more abstract yet meaningful logo which clearly communicates the values of the company to attract potential clients.
