BLB Custom Homes

BLB Custom Homes was in the middle of moving to their new work space when they came to me all the way from Massachusetts pondering the idea of rebranding.

BLB is a high-end and respected residential and commercial construction company, with projects ranging from renovations to complete builds, throughout Greater Boston. The art above was my favorite piece from the directions I sent them.

However, due to the previous success and history behind their logo in use, they decided to move forward with their preexisting brand.

While in this trade, you become used to these instances over time. I mean how can you blame anyone for holding onto a look that they are comfortable selling under and being the face of their business. Obviously you'd love to have another happy customer continuing their success under a logo you fully created, but sometimes that just isn't the case.

As logo designers, I feel we are more so problem solvers and directors than designers. Ultimately, we are here to provide our customers with creations that they feel the most confident in.

At the end of the day, if the customer was happy with your process and work provided and still chooses to go back to their current look, you have successfully completed what you were brought on to do. Answer the question of rebranding.
