Village app

We were approached by an existing non-profit client to design a proof of concept app that focused on “community favors.” They had a very basic idea of an app that allows you to create groups based around communities such as your kid’s school or your neighborhood in which you can ask for or do favors for other users.

We were really excited for the opportunity to create something that can better people’s worlds, even if it’s only asking for a ride or a cup of sugar. With that basic idea in hand, I was given full and free reign to flesh out the concept and design a front end. What followed were many late night talks over a bowl of popcorn with my wife, brainstorming on how best this app could serve the needs of its potential users.
