Scenes from Moraine Lake / 01 (2017)

One of my favorite memories from my trip to Banff was sunrise at Moraine Lake. We hiked up in the dark, lighting the giant boulders with our headlamps as we climbed, and set up our tripods and cameras. Then we waited. Watching this lake and mountains reveal themselves as the sun came up was pure magic. It felt like I was witnessing some sort of miracle and I remember thinking: if something so beautiful can exist, everything is going to be ok.
