App icon for a Cancer Support Group

For today's challenge I had to make an App Icon

Struggled to make this one, designing an app icon/logo is definitely not my strength, had to do lots of researches to know more about the design process.

Feel free to comment what can I do to become a better at designing icons/logos and what should I improve in this design.
