Spot Illustrations Series

I don't do a lot of illustration work, but when I do, it's always fun and challenging. It's not really my comfort zone so it's a great practice to stretch myself. These are some BW illos for an educational book about genetics, commissioned by Stanford University for The Tech Museum. The title is "When Will Broccoli Taste Like Chocolate?" So I created a Broccoli Dude character to present the articles. The book answers some questions about genetics in a fun, casual way. The audiences are junior high students to adults.
