Home Is Where You Make It

My first Illo of 2019 (outside of client work). In this project the goal was to use one triangle as much as I can. I couldn't problem solve some of the details on the house, but it's definitely dominantly made of the same triangle!

I was also sitting on this wood texture for really long time... I'm so glad it works well in this style, which is starting to make me believe any texture will work well in this style.

It's definitely important to experiment with new things every once in a while, and to even throw limitations at yourself (like this triangle thing) that will open up even more possibilities for you. Most fun I had on a project in a while!
