Behind Oldskull Logo

The original sketch and the final concept.

Many of my logos are an personal initiative. Sometimes I just think on an idea and I just want to play with that. That time I wanted to create a skull logo, so I started to sketching searching for some ideas... finally I made a sample that I liked. When I reached that point, then the game starts.

After play with some shapes, I came up with an idea with a retro style and its concept, so I shaped the hair. I really liked the idea, so I adopted it. After that, I did some color tests that accentuate the concept... and then it was born.

The Concept.

A skull with its own style. It has an afro haircut as a characteristic feature and distinguishes it as a retro element. This one has an intimidating and challenging gesture. The delineated and harmonious combination of 2 colors make up an iconic, memorable and fun logo. The white background is a perfect complement to the combination of colors, providing a clean finish to the composition.

A logo for creative brands, who wish to distinguish themselves in a colorful and fun way. Ideal for tattoo shop, barbershop, hairdresser, fashion, accessories and clothing store, sports, electronic sports, clubs, among others! Oldskull is at home!
