Virtual Reality In The Workplace

I wanted to create a bright colourful editorial style illustration that looks at the future of the workplace in this time where AI and virtual/augmented reality are beginning to expand and find practical uses for themselves in commercial settings. I wanted to delve into the ways this emerging tech and data flow could mould the office of the near future. Exploring practical uses for virtual reality, some established and some speculative, I showcased the possibilities for increased bandwidth between the user and the programmes they use as well as the possibility of real world quality of life changes. A 3D modeller could use VR tools to quickly create sculptural works as the level of articulation grows within the technology- a more day to day use could be plants pots that display their floras hydration levels and lights that present information of their light level that can be remotely changed. I hope this illustration can engage people with the idea of this future tech illuminating their imagnation with the ways that they can utilize these products to further the happiness and success of their lives and the lives of others. My colour palette and characters reflect my concepts of A playful, happy, and positive space at the dawn of something exciting.
