Nabla Logo

At a river delta, fresh water flows into salt water. Nabla is a nuclear desalination company located in the United Arab Emirates and named for the inverse of a the mathematical symbol delta: nabla. The logo incorporates "nabla" in hand-drawn Arabic calligraphy inside a water droplet, over the mathematical symbol, nabla (∇).

The logo and power plant were designed for the "Risk-Informed Design for Advanced Nuclear Systems" course at UC Berkeley (fall 2017).
