Toscana Cats

The interiors of Tuscany's ancient buildings are densely inhabited by the tribe of grotesques. They climb the walls, like cats - those grotesques; they watch you from under the cellars, like cats; they peep on you from dark corners, like cats. If Tuscany's grotesques bear themselves so catlike, why cannot a Tuscany's cat assume the shape of grotesque?
