Dara: Coming Soon

DARA is a more traditionally-oriented engineering consultancy firm from Qatar that stands behind some amazing landmarks in the Middle East.

Creating a coming soon page is usually no big deal and you can get it done with a few stock photos and a few well-formatted lines of text. However, we’re not Squarespace, and that’s not what our clients pay for.

So, Dara Architecture contracted us to make a stellar coming soon page that features their latest projects and stays true to their traditional values. In practical terms, this meant coming up with a clean layout that showcases 3 projects on a single page, alongside additional insight and context.

If you think that was difficult, I’m delighted to inform you that our next challenge was to do the same thing for screens half the size. Yep, the mobile version. We’ll be sharing more on that in our next shot.

Disclaimer: the renders see here are references we used to convey the art direction and the actual look and feel of renders with different levels of detail (i.e. to help the client understand what’s going on, without resorting to polygon counts and what they usually perceive as “technobabble”).
