Happy new year! This is my first freelance job of 2019. A website header illustration for a property website based in Turkey.

The concept is a shining light through an authentic Turkish/Islamic window into a modern living room, contrasting old with new.

Turkish/Islamic geometric patterns are beautiful and a delight to recreate. I’ve produce these 2 versions so far, dark and light, I will do another version with white and grey with hints of blue and green.

What a fun project this is. Bring on the rest of 2019. After being made redundant last week from Moltin (no hard feelings) it has given me a new sense of direction and thirst to get better and learn.
