The work is inspired by the 1973 French animated film Primitive Planet, which tells the story of human resistance to the tyrannical ruler, the giant Degas.
In the stage of creative conception, tall giants and small human beings are chosen as the core characters of the works, and at the same time, human exploration of the extraterrestrial universe is integrated. The contrast between alien giants and humans is to show how insignificant human beings are in the universe.
Unlike Primitive Planet, the giants on the primitive planet are violent, while the giants on the purple planet are a peaceful and United race, accepting explorers from the Earth to coexist peacefully with them.
Creation also wants to show a different world outlook, such as the "energy cube" is the split part of the purple planet, which can provide survival energy for giants. However, the "energy cube" is also very dangerous if excessive energy will lead to the explosion of the magic cube. There is also the "Mechanical Flower" on the purple planet, a special carbon-based plant that can produce special energy for giants to survive.
