Daily UI 005 - App Icon

Here we go - Daily UI Challenge #005

With this app icon i actually also created my first app icon ever. Before that, i thought it would be easier to design an app icon. Holy - I was so wrong and i found that i have to practice a lot more in order for me to be able to design top notch app icon designs. Its a tough job to design a clean and extraordinarily creative outcome in such a small canvas.

I played around a bit with some effects, but after an hour i decided to commit myself to an clean and minimal design in order to produce something you could actually use in a real world app project.

Actually im quite happy with my result here. Even though its a simple one, i think this one works.

As always it would be really awesome to get some feedback on that from you guys.
